Seth Narayanan
Founder & CEO

With nearly 25 years experience in the Information Technology field, Seth Narayanan brings a broad vision, technical maturity and industry wisdom to the company.

Seth began his career as a software engineer with Unisys Corporation in, India and soon relocated and settled in the United States. As a consultant to Unisys for over 15 years, Seth gained comprehensive experience in software development and services delivery working with several Fortune 500 and global customers especially in banking and financial services industries. He subsequently founded Avalon International to serve the financial services and banking community directly. As founder and CEO, Seth helped shape Avalon as a leading provider of software products and solutions to the check and payment processing industry. In 2008, Seth led Avalon to a successful acquisition by Bluepoint Solutions and took on the responsibility of serving as the CTO of the combined organization.

Seth earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India, in 1984. He continued his education by receiving an MBA, with specialization in Marketing and Information Systems, from the Xavier Labor Relations Institute in Jamshedpur, India, in 1986.

In May, 2010 Seth co-founded Telliant Systems to create a better model for software services delivery to global corporations looking to leverage the benefits of outsourcing and offshore services. Seth lives in the Atlanta area with his family and enjoys playing golf and reading.

Kathleen Narayanan
Co-Founder & CFO

Kathleen Narayanan brings nearly three decades of software and business experience to Telliant Systems.  She began her IT career as a Programmer at Farmers' Bank and Trust Co., Hummelstown, PA, while working towards an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and Accounting at Thompson College.  Kathleen continued to contribute to Farmers' Bank's IT department while earning a BA in Computer Applications at Pennsylvania State University. 

Kathleen has been involved in furthered her career and knowledge by joining Unisys Corporation in 1983 as a Programmer Analyst. During her career at Unisys, she served in several key roles including Team Leader and Project Manager in several software development and implementation projects. Kathleen has interfaced with several major clients on various projects, many specifically in the banking industry.  Kathleen was recognized as a small banking expert and solution provider at Unisys, receiving the Unisys Achievement Award for Excellence in 1986 for her leading role in the development of the Unisys solution for Mellon Bank's Small Banking Service Center. She also developed the Unisys solution for Credit Union payment processing needs.

In 1994, Kathleen left Unisys to assist Seth Narayanan full-time with Avalon International and its clients. Her enthusiasm, energy and IT experience made her a great asset to the company.  She helped manage the financial side of the business in addition to contributing to various other areas including product development, sales and customer relationships.  After the successful sale of Avalon in, she joined again with Seth to help lead Telliant Systems.
